At BDR, innovation lies at the heart of every new concept, and forms the fuel that drives us to improve upon our best everyday. Our innovative and new age methodologies inculcate novel delivery systems for existing molecules and optimize on the existing formulations, thereby improving on the standards and quality of therapy. We have brought forth successfully developments like Liposomal delivery systems, Microspheres, Depot formulations, Pegylated delivery systems and other complicated formulations. Consistently implementing and improving on various advanced processing tools to arrive at novel drug delivery systems has always been in BDR's DNA.
Many recent dosages have been developed in ready to fill forms, enabling formulators to use easily such ready formulations and fill them in vials or capsules. Many such new molecules are in the pipeline to achieve selective BBB penetration and selective GI absorption.
Our Work In Innovation And Technology
Our R&D team works closely with the business development team to generate innovative concepts and ideas and in the process synergizing different therapeutic areas to the optimum benefit of the market needs. While we focus on developing new technologies, we continuously monitor and research their efficiency.
Our R&D units have been recognized by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, in May 2015 and are supported by facilities that can scale up the processes from gram to kilo level, as well as to the pilot plant level.
